Nepal Armed Police Force (APF) Club clinched the 10th National Women’s Football Tournament after inflicting a 6-0 rout to Ilam in the final here today.

Anu Lama completed a hat-trick, Jamuna Gurung scored twice and Ganga Gurung added one goal. Jamuna scored in the 22nd and 32nd minute while Anu added here three goals in the 51st, 60nd and 77th. Ganga also scored a goal in the 75th.

The APF received Rs 50,000 while Ilam got Rs 25,000. Bimala Joshi of Kailali won the best goalkeeper award while Bhagwati Thapa of APF won the best defender award. Sanrachana Pradhan of Ilam, Anu Lama of APF and Darshan Bhusal of Ilam were declared the best midfielder, striker and coach respectively. All Nepal Football Association President Ganesh Thapa gave away the prizes.
