Nepal APF Club advanced to the men's section final of the RBB-NVA Club League Volleyball here at the NSC covered hall on Wednesday. APF defeated Tip Top Help Nepal, who had already secured the berth in final, in straight sets of 25-18, 25-18, 25-23 to finish second in the seven-team table. Help Nepal finished on top with 15, while APF came second with 13 points from six matches. Bulbule Rara were third with 12 and they would have made it to the final had Help Nepal beat APF in the last league match.
In women's section, Hongwanji New Diamond Sports Club set final date with Nepal Police Club after they beat APF 25-21, 26-24, 14-25, 25-21. New Diamond finished at the top of the six-team standing with 13 points, while NPC were second with 11. NPC had earlier defeated Tribhuvan Army Club in straight sets to secure the final berth. The finals are slated for Thursday.
