Lalitpur, August 2

Aryan Giri and Prasamsa Moktan won the titles of the first ANLTA-JTI National Junior Tennis Tournament here at the Satdobato Tennis Complex today.

Giri claimed the boys’ U-12 category title beating Pranav Manandhar 6-4, 6-0 in the final match.

Similarly, Moktan recorded a hard-fought 7-5, 4-6, 10-7 victory over Rosani Limbu to win the girls’ U-10 category title.  Moktan had also won the title of girls’ U-9 category.

In boys’ U-18 section, Samrakshyak Bhushan Bajracharya defeated Pranav Khanal 6-3, 6-2. Earlier Bajracharya had defeated Samragya Katwal in his first match of the event which is played under round robin format among four players.

Bajracharya will now face Ninwam Rai in his last match, while  Khanal will face Katwal on Thursday.
