Bajracharya elected
KATHMANDU: The annual general assembly of Nepal Judo Association on Tuesday unanimously elected a 20-member executive committee headed by Deepak Harsha Bajracharya.
Bajracharya was elected for the third straight term. Khadga Bahadur Dahal was elected as senior vice-president, while Sudev Mahat, Piyush Shrestha, Ramesh Maharjan and Babu Raja Maharjan were elected vice-presidents.
Dharma Kumar Shrestha, Surya Narayan Shrestha and Hemraj Bhandari were elected general secretary, joint general secretary and secretary respectively.
Likewise, Bipin Prasad Shrestha and Dinesh Acharya were elected treasurer and joint treasurer respectively.
Suraj Kaji Dotel, Manoj Bahadur KC, Madhav Raj Adhikari, Dharma Ratna Pachhai, Pramod Prasad Nepal, Ram Krishna BC, Bishnu Bahadur Gurung, Rishiram Pradhan and Ganga Bahadur Dangol were elected as members.
The NJA nominated Rajesh Shrestha, Padam Bahadur Budhathoki, Tejendra Thapa, Indra Dangol, Debu Thapa, Prithvi Alok and Chandra Dangol as the members, while chief coach Birendra Ranjit is the ex officio member.
The NJA picked Siddhi Bahadur Shakya, Dharma Shila Chapagain, Hari Prasad Shrestha, Laxmi Ratna Tuladhar and Shailendra Man Shrestha as advisors.
