LALITPUR: Sanrakchak Bhusan Bajracharya and Akash Rokka advanced into the second round of the Junior Tennis Initiative (JTI) Tournament organised by All Nepal Lawn Tennis Association here today.

Joining them in the next round of the U-12 section were Sandesh Poudel and Anukul Shrestha. Winners in the U-14 category were Brahmand Moktan, Naresh Shrestha, Saurav Shah, Prabesh Chhetri, Anand Gauchan, Abhilash Khatri, Nidan Rimal, Milna Rokka, David Tako, Ashutosh Yadav, Diwash Shrestha and Subir Shrestha. Anubhav Shrestha, Pratyush Nahata and Yugam Vimsuriya also won their respective U-16 section matches while Sushma Karki, Alisha Adhikari, Rubina Gurung and Anusha Malla were the winners in the girls’ U-14 section.

In all, 89 boys and 67 girls are vying for 10 championship titles — five each in boys and girls sections.
