LALITPUR: Campion and IJ Pioneer registered victories in the first Nalanda Inter-school Basketball Championship here on Sunday.

In the first matches played at the Nalanda School courts, Campion defeated Oasis 31-26 riding on 14 points from Bishal Chemjong, while Santosh Bhatta’s 12 points helped IJ Pioneer register a 26-23 victory over Caribbean.

A total of five teams are competing in the tournament.
