DAMAULI: Bhimad Youth Club ‘B’ won the title of the Bhimad Cup Open Knockout Football Tournament here on Tuesday. Bhimad defeated River Side 5-3 in tie breaker after a 1-1 draw in the regulation period. Victor Amboi had put River Side ahead before Saroj Dahal levelled the scores for the hosts. Bhimad received Rs 155,555, while River Side boycotted the presentation distribution protesting the decisions of the match officials. Sunil BK of Bhimad received the best player’s award, while his teammate Shiva Subedi won the highest scorer’s trophy. Aakash Ranabhat of Bhimad was named the best goalkeeper, while Bishnu Paduka received the disciplined team’s award. All the winners received Rs 10,000 each.
