Lalitpur, November 22

Bhumre School of Syangja and Shree Durga School of Rautahat advanced to the women’s section final of the Coca-Cola Cup Inter-school Football Tournament here at the ANFA Complex Ground today.

In the semi-final matches, Bhumre defeated Seti Devi Sarda School of Sindhupalchowk 2-0, while Shree Durga outplayed Shree Shankar Saraswoti School of Kailali 1-0.

Bhumre advanced to the final after Seti Devi’s Ashma Shrestha scored an own goal in the ninth minute, while Bhumre’s Sunita Kumal doubled the tally in the 48th minute.

Similarly, Shree Durga Devi outplayed Shree Shankar riding on Nikita Thokar’s solitary goal. Thokar netted the goal in the 20th minute. The final will be played on Thursday.
