Bidur hammer Panauti
KATHMANDU: Bidur thrashed Panauti 6-0 in the Deputy Mayor Cup Inter-municipality Women’s National Football Tournament here at the Nepal APF Club grounds in Halchowk on Thursday.
Anu Lama struck a hat-trick, while Ranjana Darji scored a brace for Bidur, who were also gifted with an own goal from Panauti’s Apsari Pariyar. In another match, Birendranagar and Kawasoti played a 2-2 draw.
Samyana Sharma opened the scoring for Birendranagar in the 21st minute before Salina Saru levelled the scores for Kawasoti three minute later. Birendranagar regained the lead through an own goal from Kawasoti’s Niru Gurung in the 28th minute, while Tili Thapa scored the equaliser for Kawasoti in the 38th minute.
Also, Chaudandigaddi defeated Hetauda 5-2. Anushka Sherpa scored a brace, while Manika Rai, Sabitra Praja and Saraswoti Chaudhary netted one each for Chaudandigaddi. Puja Lopchan and Sujita Bhomjan scored one apiece for Hetauda.
