SIMARA: Bijay Youth Club of Hetauda advanced to the semi-finals of the seventh Simara Gold Cup Football Tournament with a 3-2 win over Saraswoti Youth Club here on Saturday. In the match played at the Simara Stadium, Sunil Bal scored a brace and Sunil BK netted a goal for Bijay, while Ale Traore and Ramesh Ghising scored for Saraswoti. BK provided the lead to Bijay in the 37th minute, while Bal doubled the tally in the 36th minute. Ale scored in the 38th minute to cut the lead before Ghising levelled the scores in the injury time of the first half. Bal scored his second and team’s third goal in the 48th minute to seal the victory. On Sunday, APF Club will face Rupandehi-XI.
