Biratnagar City FC on Thursday announced national football team defender Ranjit Dhimal as marquee player for the upcoming Nepal Super League. Biratnagar City FC CEO Subhashish Koirala and Dhimal signed the memorandum of understanding amidst a programme.
Dhimal, who is associated with Martyrs Memorial A Division League champions Machhindra FC, expressed happiness and excitement to get the opportunity to represent his home town in the inaugural edition of the franchise-based football tournament. A total of seven teams are taking part in the tournament organised by Nepal Sports and Event Management. The tournament will be held at Dasharath Stadium from April 24.
