LALITPUR: Jhapa’s Surendra Rai was selected for the ABC Youth Boxing Championship slated for April 19-28 in Thailand, here on Monday.

Rai defeated Makawanpur’s Sandeep Khatiwada in the men’s 56kg weight category final match of the selection tournament organised by Nepal Boxing Association.

On Sunday, Kushum Tamang of Naxal got selected for the event in women’s 57kg section.
