KATHMANDU: A seven-member Nepali team, including four boxers, is on Wednesday leaving for India to take part in the AIBA Youth Women World Boxing Championship slated for November 19-26 in Guwahati.

Ashmita Duwal will compete in 48kg weight category, while Sanju Maya Thing will take part in 51kg. Likewise, Kushum Thapa Magar will fight in 54kg and Shisham Thapa Magar will compete in 57kg event.

Team manager Puskarraj Panta, coaches Kishor Kumar Limbu and Nabin Tandukar will accompany the players to Guwahati. Meanwhile, Nepal Boxing Association President Ram Awale among others bade farewell to the team on Tuesday.
