Expresses condolences to bereaved families and injured
KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 13
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Banke district cricketer Sulabh Raj Shrestha during the recent Gen-Z protests.
In a condolence message, CAN said it is "shocked and saddened" by the loss of Shrestha and paid tribute to all those who lost their lives in the nationwide demonstrations. The association extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families and wished a speedy recovery to the injured.
Shrestha, cricket player from Banke, was among the victims of the protests that erupted across Nepal earlier this week, leaving dozens dead and hundreds injured.
