KATHMANDU: Central Region claimed the National Invitational Taekwondo Running Shield here on Sunday.

Central bagged six gold medals to win the title. Hosts Sankata Club claimed three gold medals to come second, while Nepal APF Club finished third with one gold. A total of 91 participants from seven different teams — Sankata, APF, Central, Western, Mid-western, Far-western and Eastern — competed in the two-day event organised by Sankata Club.
