Chabahil Cricket Club outplay Inacho Club

Chabahil Cricket Club defeated Inacho Pasha Cricket Club by 202 runs in the inaugural match of the Pasha Cricket Tournament 2061 here at local Maheshwori ground today. Put into bat after Inacho Club won the toss, Chabahil Club scored 278 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 30 overs. Under-17 national team player Rabi Thapa, who was later declared the man of the match, top-scored with 65 off 60 balls, well supported by Ritesh Baral (57). For Inacho, Mikesh Banepali took three wickets.

In reply, Bantu Bataju took four wickets as Inacho Club were packed off for just 76 runs in 23.3 overs. Sachin Shrestha was the highest scorer with his unbeaten 16 runs. Earlier, Upendra Bhattarai, member of Cricket Association of Nepal and president of Baluwatar Cricket Club, inaugurated the tournament, which has been organised by Pasha Library, Bhaktapur. The winner will recieve Rs 15,000. The tournament will continue till May 1. According to the fixtures, Nest Club will play Rudramati Club on Sunday.
