All Nepal Snooker
KATHMANDU: Chamunda Sports Club is organising the first Chamunda All Nepal Snooker Championship here from July 7-17.
Around 250 players are expected to take part in the championship, informed the organisers at a press meet on Thursday. Nepal Billiard, Snooker and Pool Association President Saroj Kumar Mulmi said the tournament would help in producing cueists for national team.
Top two players will receive Rs 200,000 and Rs 75,000, while two losing semi-finalists will earn Rs 30,000 each.
The best player of the tournament will get Rs 10,000, while the highest breaker with the minimum of 75 points will earn Rs 30,000. Likewise, the player with 100-point break will be awarded with Rs 50,000.
