Citizens Bank Cup Golf on Saturday

Citizens Bank is organising the third edition of the Citizens Bank Cup Golf Tournament at the Gokarna Golf Club on Saturday.
Around 100 golfers will vie for various prizes including men, women, senior and junior categories, informed Gokarna Golf Club in a release today. The tournament will be played under stableford ¾ handicap format.
The winners and runners-up in men and women sections, along with winners in gross, senior and junior categories will receive attractive prizes, along with field prizes including longest drive, closest-to-the-pin and most birdies. “The bank is committed to promote the sports and we are very happy with the participation from golfing community in this tournament,” said Citizens Bank CEO Rajan Singh Bhandari. “We want to make this event competitive as well as fun.”
Deepak Acharya, Senior Golf Director at Gokarna Forest Resort said the golfing fraternity was delighted that Citizens Bank was committed to promote golf through sponsorship. “Citizens Bank Golf Tournament has become a permanent event in Nepal’s amateur golf calendar and the response from the participants in overwhelming,” said Acharya.
