Club reps elected
Kathmandu, July 29:
The seven representatives from the ‘A’ division clubs have been elected unanimously for the upcoming elections of the All Nepal Football Association. Out of the 15 ‘A’ Division clubs of the country, officials from Tribhuvan Army Club were not present on the meet held at ANFA. As per the ANFA bylaws, the general assembly needs seven represenatives from the clubs. The club representatives elected included Three Star Club president Lalit Krishna Shrestha, Manang Marsyangdi Club president Chhimi Gurung, New Road Team (NRT) vice president Narendra Shrestha, Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) secretary Raju Shrestha, member of Boys Union Club Mani Kunwar, Sankata Club vice president Indra Man Tuladhar, and Brigade Boys Club vice president Khadga Prasad Thapa. They are now eligible to be candidates for
any of the ANFA posts in the elections apart from getting the voting rights. They will become central committee members of ANFA if they don’t claim other posts. Only 48 others — one each from 38 district FAs and 10 nominees, who are yet to be selected by ANFA — can run their candidency in the elections.
