KATHMANDU: The Khukuri Challenge Cup Twenty20 Cricket tournament will start from January 24-February 22.

According to the organisers of tournament, Khukuri ENT, a total of 20 cricket clubs will be competing in the event which will be held in Mulpani cricket ground and the TU cricket ground in Kirtipur.

A total of 40 league matches, four quarter-finals, two semi-finals and one final game will be under the tournament.

The winner of the event will win Rs. 300,000 in cash while the runner-up will walk home with Rs. 100,000. The best cricketer of the tournament will win Rs. 20,000 while the best bowler and batsman will get a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 each.
