Kathmandu, May 11:

Deep Jyoti School defeated Brightland School by six wickets and advanced to the quarter-finals of the second Lira Inter-school Cricket Tournament.

Batting first, Brightland were bowled out for 59 runs in 25 overs. In reply, Deep Jyoti overcame the target in 13 overs losing four wickets.

In the other match, Bright Future School were bowled out for 115 runs in 23 overs. In reply, man of the match Dorji Sherpa took four wickets as Prerana School overcame the target in 21 overs.
