Kathmandu, March 18

Dharma Raj Limbu won the title of the Mr Fitness First Open Bodybuilding Championship on Saturday.

Limbu, who came first in the 60kg weight category in qualifying round, left behind Hiran Shrestha and Damodar Shrestha in the final round. Hiran, who came second, entered the final round after winning the 70kg category, while third-placed Damodar Shrestha was the winner in above-70kg category. Top three bodybuilders received Rs 25,000, Rs 15,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively.

Trijon Manandhar and Manoj Surkheti were second and third in the 60kg event, while Amar Gamal and Sanat Hamal came second and third in the 70kg section.

Likewise, Manoj Shrestha and Pradeep Baniya finished second and third in the above-70kg weight category respectively.

Sujan Rokka and Shiva Maharjan won the sports physique titles in 165cm and above-165cm categories respectively and got Rs 10,000 each.

Shekhar Khatri and Rajesh Tamang were second and third in 165cm, while Manoj Katuwal and Dipendra Giri finished behind Maharjan in above-165cm section. A total of 50 bodybuilders took part in the event which was organised by Fitness First Club.
