KUSHMA: Three departmental teams, Tribhuvan Army Club, Nepal Police Club and Nepal APF Club along with New Diamond Club advanced to the semi-finals of the first Didibahini Cup Women’s Volleyball Tournament here on Thursday.

After the day’s matches, APF finished as Group A winners and NPC came second, while New Diamond and TAC grabbed top two spots in Group B.

APF will face TAC, while New Diamond will play against NPC in Friday’s semi-finals. On Thursday, APF recorded a comfortable 25-4, 25-6, 25-6 victory over hosts Didibahini, while New Diamond outplayed Western Region Volleyball Association 25-9, 25-13, 25-8 and returned to beat TAC 25-14, 25-12, 25-21. In another match, TAC came from a set down to defeat Western Region 24-26, 25-20, 25-22, 23-25, 15-11.
