RAJBIRAJ: New Triyuga Sporting Club of Fattepur blanked Ekta Samuha Katari 3-0 in the Eastern ANFA San Miguel Champions League football on Sunday. Uttam Bista scored the first goal for Triyuga in the fourth minute before Binam Singh added another in the 39th minute. Duryodhan Chaudhary sealed the game scoring the third in the 83rd minute. — HNS

KU beat Kirtipur Club

BANEPA: Kathmandu University (KU) beat Kirtipur Cricket Club by 40 runs in the first Suvendra Memorial Open Cricket Tournament on Sunday. Put into bat first, KU were all out for 166 runs. Nitesh Karki scored 32 runs. For Kirtipur, Biplav Jha took three wickets while Rohit Jha and Rakesh claimed two each. In reply, Kirtipur were packed for 126 runs. Biplav scored 15 runs. Man of the match Vicky Pradhan completed a five-wicket haul for KU. On Monday, Baluwatar Cricket Club will meet Bhomi Youth Club. — HNS
