Donovan jumps into Becks arms after goal

FOXBOROUGH: Landon Donovan scored, then jumped into David Beckham's arms, as Los Angeles Galaxy celebrated its fifth win in six matches with a 2-1 victory over New England Revolution 2-1 on Saturday night.

The display of togetherness came barely two months after Donovan criticised Beckham's leadership and commitment in a book about Beckham's stint with the Galaxy.

Donovan scored in the 21st minute after Alan Gordon's shot ricocheted off Revolution defender Darius Barnes.

Jovan Kirovski made it 2-0 in the 52nd minute before Steve Ralston reduced the margin with a penalty in the 83rd.

Crew 3, Earthquakes 0 At San Francisco, Robbie Rogers scored his first goal of the season as Columbus pulled away from San Jose in the second half.

Alejandro Moreno and Adam Moffat also scored for Columbus in the league's first match played at Candlestick Park. The defending MLS Cup champion Crew, who have lost only once in their last 17 matches, are one point ahead of Houston, which plays Chicago on Sunday.

Rapids 4, Chivas USA 0 At Commerce City, Colorado, Conor Casey scored three first-half goals to lead the home team over struggling Chivas USA.

Casey had his second three-goal game of the year and third of his career.

Pablo Mastroeni also scored for the Rapids.

The loss was the fifth straight for Chivas.

Real Salt Lake 1, Seattle Sounders FC 0 At Sandy, Utah, Robbie Findley scored his eighth goal of the season and became Real Salt Lake's career scoring leader.

Findley's goal, his 20th with Real Salt Lake and 22nd in his three-year MLS career, came in the 62nd minute when he beat Seattle goalkeeper Kasey Keller with a shot from the edge of the area following a quick counterattack started at the other end.
