Kathmandu, May 2:

Trungram International Academy (TIA) defeated Marsyangdi 22-8 in the senior girls’ section match at the third Kwik’s Greenland Inter-school Basketball Tournament today. Prekshya Malla top-scored with 16 points for TIA.

In other matches, Greenland beat Deep Jyoti 9-7 and Manju Gokshya routed Triyog 28-2 riding on Kelung Diki’s 12 points.

In boys’ section, defending champions Gyan Niketan edged past Manju Gokshya 33-32, Clinton Public beat Deep Jyoti 27-12 riding on Subash Baniya’s 11 points, Eline KC netted 20 in Mount Glory’s 57-12 win over Angel’s Heart, and Mohan Limbu scored 13 as TIA defeated Golden Peak 24-12.
