Dravid’s injury adds to woes
Kolkata, May 5:
Team India continued to wilt under crisis as skipper Rahul Dravid on Saturday ended up bloody-nosed after a bouncer from RP Singh hit his face during the conditioning camp at the Eden Gardens.
“His injury is not too serious but he bled from the nose. He has been advised rest,” Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president Prasun Mukherjee said. India will play three-match ODI series against Bangladesh followed by two Tests.
Earlier, Sachin Tendulkar sustained injury in his right ankle on the first day of the camp. VVS Laxman also did not report due to gastroenteritis and Wasim Jaffer too hurt his left hand.
