Dream Fapla releases stadium design

Dhangadhi, May 21

Dream Fapla today released the design of international cricket stadium proposed to be constructed in Dhangadhi, the city of cricket.

Convenor of the Fapla International Cricket Stadium Construction Campaign Subash Shahi released the 3D Master Plan and requested all for advice and cooperation.

“We hope it will bring a revolution in the field of Nepali cricket,” said Shahi.

“We are hopeful the project will be completed soon as we are doing this with the help of the government, local people, private sector and Nepalis residing abroad. We will not leave any stone unturned until the project gets completed.”

Shahi also appealed all to contribute in the construction of the stadium. “Our future is associated with this project, so I request you all to be united for the Dream Fapla,” he said.

The Master Plan consists of a play ground, Gym, locker for players, swimming pool, training house, parapet in three sides of the grounds, VIP Stand, media centre, and accommodation area for the players among other facilities. The stadium will have a capacity of 40,000 spectators.

National team skipper Paras Khadka shared the designs posted by Shahi on Facebook and said that he was confident of the project on time. “Hope this dream comes true. Nepal Cricket needs people like you.

Let us all support Subash Shahi and his team to make the Fapla International Cricket Stadium. Amazing vision and Dedication mate. Well done!!” wrote Khadka on his wall.
