MMC added five more goals after the break, the first one coming in the 62nd through Basnata Gauchan’s spectacular goal from the tight angle. BBC pulled one back in the 78th minute through Akash Chhantyal’s penalty which BBC earned when Pankaj Lama brought down Raju Rai inside the area.

Boys’ Union protest against Policemen
KATHMANDU: Struggling Boys’ Union Club filed an official protest against MPC for sending in the 19th player during their match on Saturday. Kunjan Shrestha (jersey no 17), who was not listed in the 18-member line-up provided to the media and opponent team, substituted stand-in skipper Rajendra Shrestha in the 60th minute. BUC president said that ANFA should take an immediate action. “As per the league rule, we are the winners. So we demand three points from the match,” he said. Fourth official Surendra Sikhrakar, however, said that MPC had included Shrestha’s name in place of Ananta Thapa before the start of the game. In a similar situation in the first-leg match, the ANFA had suspended fourth official Bal Gopal Maharjan for two matches after the opponents did not file protest. — HNS
