Kathmandu, October 22
EPL Pvt Ltd has added Sandeep Lamichhane and Aarif Sheikh in Category A for the auction of the Everest Premier League.
The auction of the Twenty20 cricket tournament to be played among six city-based franchise teams is slated for Monday, while the tournament is scheduled for December at the Tribhuvan University Stadium in Kirtipur.
“Lamichhane is an extraordinary talent and has been doing very well for the Nepali team. Hence, it is fair to include him Category A,” said EPL in a release today.
“Sheikh, on the other hand, has been in and out of the national team for the past three years, making him eligible to be promoted to Category A,” the release added. Both Lamichhane and Sheikh were in Category B as per the terms announced by the organisers.
