Fabregas 50-50 for United showdown
LONDON: Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas is on course to recover from a hamstring injury in time for Saturday's Premier League clash against Manchester United.
Fabregas missed Arsenal's midweek victory over Celtic in the Champions League after aggravating the problem against Portsmouth last weekend.
But the Spain midfielder has now returned to training and Gunners boss Arsene Wenger believes the signs are positive that he will feature at Old Trafford as Arsenal look to maintain their 100 percent start to the season.
"He had a training session on Thursday that was quite positive," Wenger told the club's official website. "He will have a definite test on Friday where we will decide if we include him in the squad or not.
"I would say it is a real 50:50. On Wednesday I would have said it was 60:40 against but he looked positive on Thursday."
