KATHMANDU: Banke District Football Association is organising the first Yeti Cement Nepalgunj Gold Cup Football Tournament from April 23 to May 3 in Nepalgunj. Yeti Cement and Banke Football Association inked the deal of Rs 600,000 sponsorship for the tournament. A total of eight teams — three ‘A’ division clubs, Nepalgunj-XI, Far-western, Rupandehi-XI and two teams from India —will participate in the tournament, informed the organisers. The winners will receive Rs 151,000, while the runners-up will get Rs 100,000. All Nepal Football Association also promised financial assistance for the tournament.
