FW Taylor enter final
Kathmandu, December 7:
FW Taylor entered the final of the FW Taylor Inter-college Cricket Tournament with a seven-run victory over Himalayan White House College, the team that included the likes of Binod Das, Paras Khadka and Angel Acharya.
At Birendra Sainik Mahavidyalaya, FW Taylor, led by national team opener Paresh Lohani, was bowled out for 152 in 29.3 overs. Sanjay Shrestha top-scored with 36 off 45 balls while Yashwant Subedi made 23 off 34.
For White House, Angel Acharya took 5-20, and was ably supported by Paras Khadka (3-12) and Binod Das (2-31).
In reply, White House was packed for 145 runs in 30.4 overs. Paras Khadka scored a quick fire 41 off 38 balls, while Santosh Jaiswal made 51-ball 38.
Man of the match Rabindra Thapa took 3-24, while Amit Khadka claimed 2-32 for FW Taylor. In the second semi-final on Friday, CCRC will take on Universal College.
