KATHMANDU: Great Himalaya Cricket Academy won the title of the Nepal-Pakistan Friendship Twenty20 Cricket Tournament here on Saturday.

GHCA defeated Angels Heart Academy by 107 runs in the final match at the Pakistan Embassy grounds.

Invited to take first strike, GHCA posted 220 runs in their allotted 20 overs riding on Hemant Srivastav's century before Angels Heart were packed for 113 runs in 17.5 overs.

Srivastav top scored in the match with 106 runs, while Ashok Poudel contributed 36 runs. Shyam Tripathi took four wickets for Angels Heart and Bipin Neupane grabbed three. In reply, Dinesh Pun was the top scorer for Angels Heart with 21 runs. Sushant Timilsina and Ashok Poudel took three wickets each for GHCA.

A total of 12 teams took part in the tournament organised by Pakistan Embassy in Kathmandu.
