TIME OUT

KATHMANDU: Two Non-Residential Nepalis Binod Adhikari and Kemika Bhandari played golf at the highest altitude on Saturday after they shot golf balls at Kalapatthar, a notable landmark located on the south ridge of Pumori in the Himalayas above Gorakshep. The duo hit golf balls from the base of Kalapatthar, situated at an altitude of 5,545. "Playing golf as a sport is passion. But when you do it at an altitude of 5,545m, it's an unbelievable task," said Adhikari in a release.

"The match wasn't just for fun but to break the Guinness World Records," he added. Previously an Indian team had played golf at an altitude of 3,970m.
