KATHMANDU: Sukra Bahadur Rai and Tenzing Tsering on Sunday left for Vietnam to participate in the 11th Faldo Series Asia Grand Final to be held at the Laguna Lang Co in Danang from March 15-17.

Rai and Tsering had earned the berths in the tournament by winning the boys’ 17-21 and boys 12-16 age category titles in the 54-hole Faldo Series Nepal Championship organised jointly by Nepal Golf Association and Gokarna Forest Resort at the Gokarna Golf Club in September last year.

India’s Sifat Kaur Alag had won the girls’ section title earning a place in the final. President of Nepal Golf Association Madhukar Yakthumba bade farewell to the players at the RNGC.
