BHAKTAPUR: Gurukul Public School and Bhaktapur English Boarding School won their matches at the TVS Cup third Inter-school Invitational Football Tournament, organised by Madhyapur Youth Association, here on Friday. Gurukul defeated Manaslu Public School 5-0. Ram Sharan Lama, Bijay Giri, Mohan Lama and Dipson Gurung scored for Gurukul, who also got a goal courtesy from Manaslu’s Rohan Dahal. In the other match, Bhaktapur hammered Mt View English School 8-1. Narayan Shrestha, Aashish Lamichhane and Ranjeev Rajbahak scored two goals each, while Dorje Lama and Yaman Rajbahak netted one each for the winners. Manish Shrestha scored the consolation goal for Mt View. Ram Sharan Lama of Gurukul and Sanjeev Rajbahak of Bhaktapur won the the man of the match awards.
