Suman Gurung of Freedom Exports, Christopher Ligutan of Ask Me, Bishwo Man Singh Pradhan of J & T Associates and Ramesh Rana of British Gurkhas advanced to the semi-finals of the second Corporate Snooker Tournament organised by Annapurna Post in association with Radisson Hotel here today.

Suman beat Satish Krishna Rajbhandari of World Link, Ligutan defeated Prabin Shakya also of World Link, Pradhan ousted Raju Ale of Hicola Group and Rana defeated Sampanna Sthapit of Ask Me in the quarter-finals.

Earlier in the third round, Satish defeated Ravi Shrestha of Amadeus, Suman beat Raj Upreti of Sitaram Gokul Milks, Pravin edged past Ummeed Shrestha of Bank of Kathmandu, Ligutan beat Thupten Nima Sherpa of Pixel Prints, Bishwo Man overcame Kratu Raj Pandey of Nepal Investment Bank, Raju Ale of Hicola Group beat Tashi Gurung of Himalaya Kailash travels, Ramesh Rana defeated Anish Bhakta Suwal of Himalayan Bank, and Sampanna got rid of Rijan Maharjan of Civil Savings.

Kratu Raj Pandey, Raju Ale, Ramesh Rana, Sampanna Sthapit, Tashi Gurung, Anish Bhakta Suwal and Rijan Maharhan had overcame the challenges of their respective opponents in the remaining second round matches of the day.

In all, 64 cueists had taken part in the tournament. Everest Bank and Himalayan Distillery are the main sponsors while Krishi Premura is the co-sponsor of the event.
