KATHMANDU: Himalayan Bank Limited has provided A division outfit, Sankata Club with one million rupees.
HBL President Prachanda Bahadur Shrestha and CEO Ashok Shumsher Rana handed over the cheque to Sankata President Indra Man Tuladhar. HBL supported Sankata with the amount to help them in preparation for the Martyrs Memorial A Division League apart from buying necessary equipment for the players, said the bank in a release.
After 16 rounds of the two-leg league, Sankata are at the ninth position with 20 points.
