KATHMANDU: Manas Acharya and Ratna Maharjan of Nepal won bronze medal in the fourth Heroes Taekwondo International Tournament in Bangkok, Thailand on Sunday.
Acharya and Maharjan, who represented Newgen Taekwondo Club, finished third in the Green Belt and Black Belt Poomsae respectively on the second day of the tournament.
On Saturday, Prabin Thapa (U-68kg) and Rubyna Ghale (U-58kg) won gold medals in Kyorugi, while Keshav Thapa (above-80kg) bagged bronze.
Likewise, in Master Team Poomsae section, Bablu Siwakoti, Gopal Bhandari and Dipen Gurung won bronze medal, while Bhandari also bagged bronze in individual category.
