KATHMANDU: Himalayan Hounds and Xavier International College recorded wins in the Kwik’s Basketball League on Friday.

Himalayan defeated South Siders 60-56 riding on Bijay Burja’s 18 points. Himalayan took first three quarters 13-12, 20-15 and 14-11 before South Siders claimed the fourth period 18-13.

Similarly, Xavier saw off Team Budhanilkantha Municipality 63-56 in which Ajay Kuswaha top scored with 20 points for the winners.

Budhanilkantha claimed first quarter 21-10 but Xavier bounced back to claim the next three periods 12-4, 24-17 and 17-14.
