Honey in semis; Mali scores 228

Honey Enterprises topped the league round with a total of 7996 pinfalls and entered the semi-finals along with Attsh, Aseatic Traders and Exporters, and Speed Way Cargo at the Corporate Bowling Tournament, which has been organised by Fun World Nepal Recreation Centre, here today.
Maya Gurung of Honey Enterprises also emerged as the female top-scorer of the day with 193 pinfalls, while Nilendra Mali bettered his record of 222 pinfalls scored on Tuesday by scoring 228 pinfalls but failed to guide his team Tours and Travels into the semi-finals.
Attsh, who was at the third spot yesterday, moved up to second with a total of 7783 pinfalls, while Aseatic Traders and Exporters — who were at the first spot on the first two days and slipped to second yesterday — finished the league round as third and Speed Way slipped one spot down to fourth with a total of 7404 pinfalls.
All the 13 teams — with four players and a substitute each — played 48 games each over the last four days and the top four teams entered the semi-finals. The semis and final will be held on July 29. In the best-of-three semi-finals, Honey Enterprises will take on Speed Way while Attsh will play against Aseatic.
Paradise Tours and Travels finished fifth with a total of 7349 pinfalls while hosts Nepal Recreation Centre accumulated 7093 pinfalls to finish sixth. Casino Nepal, who were at the seventh spot from the first day, maintained their game and remained unmoved accumulating 6223 pinfalls.
Casino Tara came eighth with a total of 6049 pinfalls,while Casino Royal (5586) finished ninth. Casino Anna (5516) came 10th, while Nepal Samacharpatra (5447) remained unmoved to 11th spot. Casino Everest accumulated 4721 pinfalls for the 12th place and Digitek International came last with a total of 4081 pinfalls.
