ICC Division-V in February

KATHMANDU: A meeting of International Cricket Council (ICC) today decided to hold the ICC Pepsi World Cricket League Division-V on February 20-27 in Nepal.

Originally, the event was scheduled to begin in January but the world governing body decided not to coincide the event with the ICC U-19 World Cup. The U-19 World Cup is slated for January in New Zealand. The decision to postpone the Division-V comes as a relief to the hosts as they are also schedule to participate in the South Asian Games in January.

Hosts Nepal, the United States of America and Fiji have qualified for the six-team tournament. Top two teams from Division-VI to be held in Singapore will join the four teams later on.
