IME Automotives hands over keys for Dhorpatan Volleyball League

IME Automotives Pvt Ltd handed over the keys of five UM Powermax scooters to Dhorpatan Club for the 13th Red Bull Dhorpatan UM Women's Volleyball Double League Championship slated for January 18 to February 2 at the New Buspark courts.

IME Automotives' Division Head Ujjwal Joshi handed over the key to Dhorpatan Club President Manbir Chhantyal amidst a programme today. IME Automotives and Dhorpatan Club have signed a three-year agreement for the tournament.

Tournament's best player, rising player, player-of-the-year and player-of- the-series along with one lucky spectator will get UM Powermax scooter each.

Joshi said his company wanted to contribute in sports sector as well. “We have three-year contract with the club and most probably we will extend the sponsorship agreement in future,” said Joshi, who was delighted to be associated with the tournament.

A total of 12 teams will compete in the tournament and the top seven teams will qualify for the second league from the first round.

The winners of the league will take home Rs 325,000, while the runners-up will get Rs 170,000 and second runners-up bag Rs 80,000. Similarly, teams finishing from fourth to seventh positions will earn Rs 50,000, Rs 40,000, Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively.

Likewise, the best coach, lifter, spiker, blocker, quicker, defender and server will get Rs 5,000 each.
