KATHMANDU: India defeated Nepal by 77 runs in the T20 International Physically Challenged Cricket Series here at the Mulpani grounds on Sunday. Batting first, the Indian team posted 145-3 in their allotted 20 overs before the home team was packed for 68 runs in 15.5 overs.

Opener Shahul Hamed remained unbeaten on 55 off 50 balls that included three each fours and sixes, while Sayed Shah Aziz scored a quick fire 40-ball 54 not out with the help of a four and four sixes. They added 110 runs for the unbroken fourth wicket. Manoj Thapa took two wickets for Nepal and Tabrej Alam grabbed one. In reply, Bivek Sharma (11) was the lone Nepali batter to score in double figures. Mani Vannan took 5-10 from three overs for the tourists, while Makhan Singh Rajput, Vishal Nayak and Diwakar Tiwari bagged one each.
