KATHMANDU: Himalayan Bank Ltd (HBL) has increased the accidental death insurance coverage limit on its Nari Bachat Khata and Special Payroll Account to Rs one million from Rs 500,000.
Nari Bachat Khata is a special scheme targeted at women. Similarly, Special Payroll Account is for the individual working in legal entity to deposit their monthly income, as per a media release. Separately, HBL has conducted financial literacy programme under its corporate social responsibility on the occasion of 'Global Money Week 2023'.
The programme was conducted in all seven provinces of the country by the HBL Province Offices in coordination with 24 branch offices under them.
