KATHMANDU: Kirtipur Municipality is organising the Province No 3 Level Inter-municipality Mayor Cup Basketball Tournament from May 5-12.

A total of 16 teams will compete in the league-cum-knockout tournament, informed Kirtipur Municipality Mayor Ramesh Maharjnan at a press meet on Wednesday.

The organisers also said that the participating teams could include up to four players from other provinces.

Top three teams will earn Rs 50,000, Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively, while the best player and highest scorer will get Rs 5,000 each.
