LALITPUR: Hosts St Xavier’s Godavari, St Xavier’s Jawalakhel, Crescent Academy and Vidhya Sanskar advanced to the quarter-finals of the 21st Fr Moran Memorial Invitational Football Tournament on Tuesday.

St Xavier’s Godavari ‘Red’ defeated their ‘Yellow’ team 7-0. Player-of-the-match Suprim Silwal completed a hat-trick, while Nischal Maharjan scored two. Sanskar Karki and Arian Maharjan netted one apiece. St Xavier’s Jawalakhel earned a walkover win from Kavya School.

Similarly, Crescent Academy played a 2-2 draw against Vidhya Sanskar as both advanced to the last eight. Bipin Silwal and Mohit Tamang scored a goal each for Crescent, while Prayatna Thapa and Mahak Lamichhane were the scorers for Vidhya Sanskar.

Nepal Don Bosco, Dolphin, Nepal APF and NK Singh have already booked their places in the last eight.
