KATHMANDU: Nepal Ring Wrestling Association on Thursday announced the International Wrestling Tournament for April.

Wrestlers from 13 nations will participate in the tournament. Two female wrestlers will also feature in the event.

According to the organisers, Sunita Thapa, first female referee of Nepal, will also officiate matches in the tournament. “Wrestling has huge craze in people.

We want to promote the sport in Nepal and this event will be helpful in taking wrestling to the people,” said Thapa, who is also the president of the association.
