KATHMANDU: The Nepal International Taekwondo Federation (ITF) on Wednesday picked up Suraj Sunwar for the fifth Asian Taekwondo (ITF) Championship slated for April 24-28 in Kazakhstan. Suraj was selected for the below-58kg category after he was adjudged the best player at the recently held eighth National Senior Taekwondo Championships in Nuwakot. The Nepal ITF President Krishna Bahadur Balal and coach Thama Bahadur Bahik will accompany Suraj for the event. Balal, also the Asian ITF member and coordinator of Junior Tournament Committee of the regional body, will participate in the General Assembly to be held on the sidelines of the event.
